Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Mac YouTube Uploader website and macOS app.
Acceptance
By using Mac YouTube Uploader, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or app. If you use the app on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for them.
What the app does
Mac YouTube Uploader helps you select local videos, reconstruct supported split camera recordings, apply upload metadata, connect a YouTube channel, and upload videos to YouTube through YouTube API Services. You are responsible for reviewing all files, channel selections, privacy settings, and metadata before uploading.
Your content and responsibilities
- You must own or have all rights and permissions needed to upload the videos, audio, images, titles, descriptions, tags, and other content you submit through the app.
- You are responsible for complying with laws, platform rules, copyright obligations, privacy obligations, and content policies that apply to your uploads.
- You are responsible for keeping your Mac, Google account, YouTube channel, OAuth client credentials, and app installation secure.
YouTube and Google services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using Mac YouTube Uploader with YouTube, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the applicable YouTube API Services policies, and Google's OAuth and API policies.
You may revoke the app's Google account access at any time from your Google account permissions. Revoking access may prevent uploads or channel selection from working until you connect again.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how the app and website handle information, including local files, metadata, OAuth credentials, channel information, and YouTube API data. By using the app or website, you acknowledge that policy.
No guarantee of availability
The app and website are provided as available. Upload behavior can depend on your Mac, network connection, selected files, Google OAuth configuration, YouTube API availability, quota limits, and YouTube account status. Features may change, break, or be discontinued.
No warranties
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mac YouTube Uploader is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the maintainers and contributors of Mac YouTube Uploader will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, content, accounts, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app or website.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the app or website changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Your continued use of the app or website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
