Connect YouTube
- Open Mac YouTube Uploader from your Applications folder.
- Review and accept the in-app privacy policy and terms.
- Choose the in-app Google sign-in option.
- Advanced users can enable Expert mode to use their own Google Cloud OAuth client.
- Approve the YouTube access needed to upload videos.
- Select the YouTube channel you want the queue to publish to.
Start uploading
- Drop videos, folders, or camera chunks into the upload queue.
- Review the channel, privacy setting, title, description, and tags.
- Let the app rebuild supported split recordings before upload.
- Keep the app open while active uploads finish in the background.
Before your first upload
- Confirm the selected YouTube channel is the channel you want the queue to publish to.
- Set privacy, category, audience, title template, description, and tags before adding a large batch.
- Keep reusable description copy general, then add video-specific context for each upload.
- For long camera recordings, drop the folder that contains the supported sequential chunks.
If setup does not finish
- Check that your Google account can access the YouTube channel you want to upload to.
- Reconnect the channel if Google access was revoked or the selected account changed.
- Keep the Mac awake and connected to the network while an active upload is running.
- Use the app's YouTube settings to delete locally stored YouTube data before connecting again.
Manage access
- Disconnect a channel from inside the app when you no longer need it.
- Delete locally stored YouTube data from the app's YouTube settings.
- Manage purchases, installs, and updates through the Mac App Store.
- Revoke Google access from your Google account permissions page.
